About Dr. Chou
Dr. Chou was born and raised in New York. He is a graduate of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, class of 1985 and Albany Medical College, class of 1987. Dr. Chou completed his complex spine and neurosurgical residency at State University of New York Health Science Center, where he was later appointed as a Clinical Assistant Professor. During his tenure at SUNY HSCB, Dr. Chou mentored resident neurosurgeons and oversaw the neurotrauma efforts at Lutheran Medical Center, a Level-1 Trauma Center.
In 2003, Dr. Chou relocated to the Tri-State Area, and currently serves as Chief of Neuro-Truama at Deaconess Hospital. His specialty interests are spinal surgery, neuro trauma, and general neurosurgical surgery including cranial and spinal surgery in both adult and pediatric patients.
